CRAYONE
Crayone (pronounced as “Cray-Own”) is an internationally known Muralist/Street Artist living in San Francisco Bay Area. His living legend status has spanned almost 4 decades and his work has been shown in Museums such as the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, The Museum of Modern Art in Los Angeles and the Oakland Art Museum. His work have appeared in many published books; The History of American Graffiti, Freight Train Graffiti, Graffito, SprayCan Art and many others. Locally he is credited as one of the early pioneers of the Graffiti Art Movement in the early 80’s. He helped develop many painting styles such as “New Wave” and painting techniques and created the first Bay Area Graffiti crew called TWS, Together With Style. Unlike many of his counterparts, Crayone’s work has never wavered or let up ever since he touched his first spray can. The amount of work is vast enough that currently he is working on a 40 year retrospective book. He currently has an agent and a mural business. He is also a dedicated full time Firefighter for the San Francisco Fire Department. 
His music career started in 1989 when playing with a Yamaha keyboard called the DX7 and the DX21. From there Crayone went from doing full compositions with the Ensoniq SQ-1 workstation and later sampling with the EPS 16+, ASR, ASR-10. Around mid 2000's friends have introduced him to the first set of DAW's that was to forever change the way Crayone created his music. Went from a music application called Reason to LogicProX. Currently Crayone is more interested in collaborating with other artists and is a part of Cali Beat Collective which he is busy creating their website, graphics and Video Filming and Editing. He currently has a jewelry business. Crayone continues to paint the city with beautiful murals while helping the citizens of San Francisco stay safe from fires. He has a wife and 2 beautiful dogs.​​​​​​​
