LOW BAP THEORY: PROJECT CONCEPTION
As much as we all love singing along to our favorite songs, lyrics can be distracting. Lo-fi skips the lyrics, focuses on rhythm. In that way, lo-fi music may help you concentrate on what's in front of you and limit distractions, hence why it's called study music among others. Now enter Hip-hop producers banging their own boom bap spin on things. With one of our best albums in hip-hop as a backdrop, Tribe Called Quest pivotal album called Low End Theory, CBC flipped then script when it came to our version of this unique combination of sounds from California to New York.
